My 5 Favorite Christian Podcasts!

I wouldn’t say that I’m a multitasker at heart, but life is definitely more blissful when I’m able to cross off two items on my to do list at once. And honestly, these five podcasts are definitely on my to do list! Whether I’m cooking, cleaning, driving in my car or doing the groceries, you’ll generally find me listening to a podcast or sermon. Learning, growing and challenging myself to be a better version of me whilst accomplishing the mundane? Yes please!

The 5 podcasts adding value to my life in 2019
(in no particular order....drum roll please!)

Heidi St John: The busy mom.

Never have I been challenged more to “get off the bench and onto the battlefield” (as Heidi likes to say) than when I’m listening to one of The Busy Mom podcasts. She promises that you’ll be encouraged and I can testify to that. Everything she says is rooted in the word of God and I am challenged spiritually each time that I tune in.

Mackenzie Koppa: Cultivating the lovely podcast

Mackenzie is a breath of fresh air. The mosaic of guests that feature on her podcast will keep you coming back week after week. Her guests inspire me to bring little nuggets of loveliness into my own life. Cultivating the lovely is also a thriving community. Do yourself a favor and go check it out. And by the way…candles, paper napkins, city, digital, in-store, dark chocolate, no sports, podcasts, broadcast, pride and prejudice, and I’m about a 7 on the crunchiness spectrum 😉

Emily P Freeman: The next right thing.

The next right thing has actually become a book too and I cannot wait to get my own copy. These thoughtful, inspired, 10 minute podcasts have added value to my world and have helped to shape my core values.

Sally Clarkson: At home with Sally

I can only describe this podcast as having my own personal mentor sitting with me once a week imparting life giving advice and encouragement. Sally Clarkson’s thoughts on life, marriage, parenting, friendship and her relationship with Christ inspire me to be intentional in all those areas too.

Kristi Clover: The Simply Joyful Podcast

This podcast is an inspirational podcast that encourages women to find the joy in their faith, family and home making. I cannot help but feel my spirit lift when I listen in to one of her podcasts. Her guests inspire hope and yes, joy.
