10 verses to pray when you’re feeling overwhelmed

Overwhelmed.

You know what I’m talking about…Overtired. Overstressed. Over it. I’ve just come through a season where I have felt SO overwhelmed. Anxious. Fearful even. I felt like there wasn’t enough time…that I didn’t have enough energy…that I wasn’t enough. Just ask anyone who happened to cross my path. Oh my goodness! I had gone from feeling overwhelmed to talking about feeling overwhelmed! I became so consumed by those feelings of anxiety that I became completely ineffective as mom, as a wife, as a child of God

When I’m struggling with anxiety and feelings of being overwhelmed its so easy to just internalize it. To push people away. To push God away.  But the truth is that no matter how we feel, God is always there for us. He is always for us. He is unchanging. He is trustworthy.

As you read the verses below, don’t allow yourself to just skim over them, but allow them to sit on your heart.  Allow yourself to believe the truths of His character and who He is.
